Ok... Another Description

Well, I finished The Magicians.  It turned out to be a better, more interesting book at the end.  Well, I'm going to describe peanut butter.

When you think of peanut butter, you usually think of a creamy spread that many people in America eat. Those words don't do peanut butter enough justice.  Peanut butter can not be described with only a few words.
Peanut butter is a delicious, buttery spread that has saved lives, and destroyed some too.  In the 19th century, the clever mind of George Washington Carver invented the peanut butter that we know and love.  It has given people food in the hardest of times, but has also killed those with an allergic reaction.  Peanut butter is truly phenomenal.
Peanut butter started as chunky only.  Chunky peanut butter is the spread that brings down peanut butter's good name.  There are small chunks of peanuts floating around the tasteless liquid that can get lodged in your throat and ruin a perfectly good sandwich.  Those chunks also require more strength to chew.  Thankfully, Skippy came up with a wondrous idea that saved the name of peanut butter.  They came up with smooth, creamy peanut butter.  This was the best idea ever.  The peanut butter melts in your mouth with a sweet and salty combination, and it's so soft that you don't have to waste your hard-earned energy to chew.  It has the perfect thickness and texture to make it solid enough to feel, but not too solid so that you would have to chew.  Thumbs up to Skippy for making the best spread mankind ever tasted.

(Told from my point of view.

Daily post + More of Dad Description...

Today was a even more boring day than yesterday.  First of all, I didn't have internet for the whole day.  I thought my computer's networking card was dead, but in the end, I remembered that I turned the networking card off yesterday.  That's why I started blogging so late today.  Anyways, the rest of my day was boring because I read The Magicians for most of the day and for the rest of the day, I played piano, did some programming, ate food, and practiced typing.  The Magicians is getting less and less interesting.  Oh well... Here is the revised description of my dad, AGAIN.

If there are two attributes of my dad that stick out, it is his absentmindedness and the fact that he is a lot nicer to guests than he is to family members.
First of all is his absentmindedness.  He is very forgetful sometimes.  For example, once, we were going to a party at his friend's house.  My dad remembered it was at 12:00, but when we got there, all the food was gone.  The party actually started at 10:00.  Another example of his absentminded forgetfulness is; he was once going to a going-away lunch for the CEO of his company.  He really wanted to go and he already paid the money, but he went a day late.  These examples really prove that my dad is absentminded and forgetful.
Second of all, my dad is a lot nicer to guests than he is to family members.  He is way too genial to guests, while he overreacts in a bad way to family members.  For example, he always wants to save money and buy the cheap things for his family, but he buys very expensive things for guests and people outside the family.  When a member of his family does something wrong, he shouts at them.  But when a guest does the same thing, he says, "Its okay" and laughs with forced laughter.
The most noticeable attributes of my dad are that he is a lot nicer to guests than he is to family, and that he is very absentminded.

Today's Post

Well, today was a boring day... All I did was work, read, and play with my yoyo.  Well, here is a revised description of my dad.

My dad, there are enormous amounts of thoughts that come to mind when I think of him, but these are the most important physical and mental attributes.

My dad is a pretty average looking person, no deformities or anything.  There is much stubble on his face, enough so that his face is very rough and spiky.  But in contrast to his face, his smile is very caring and warm.  He stands at a comfortable height, not towering over you, but not too short that you have to bend over to talk to him.

My dad is usually at ease with himself, especially when he talks to guests.  Maybe a little too at ease.  With family members, he is very impatient.  Absentmindedness is his specialty, which causes him to procrastinate a lot.  When he is, in fact, thinking he thinks very methodically, step by step.

Yay

I figured out how to change the backgrounds, so now my blog has a much more fitting background... Limitless Compositions... notebook paper...

Dad (continued)

So now the physical and mental aspects of my dad.

First, the physical aspects.  My dad is Chinese.  He is 5'8", but he looks slightly taller with his hair.  His hair is black and very oily.  He has a shaved beard, making his face very spiky and uncomfortable.  His face is like a landscape with tree stumps strewn everywhere.  He is slightly tan and he often wears formal clothes everywhere.
Now, the mental aspects.  He is very outgoing, making him a friend of many people.  He also procrastinates a lot.  He thinks very methodically and is very slow on a few subjects.  He shouts a lot at disobedient family members, but is very nice to guests.  A little too nice.  He is also very competitive and he wants to reign over other people's skills.

My Dad

HELLO
This is my second post in one day. The post below this is my normal post.  I am writing this new post because I just noticed the comment in the post before the one before this one.  It was My writing tutor giving me the assignment to describe someone I know.  I decided to describe my dad. Here it goes!

My dad is a very interesting person.  If I have to say one thing about him, it would be the following.  My Dad NEVER does what he says he would do.  For example, he tells you to get ready to go to the park, then he starts yelling that we're going to be late, and by the time I'm ready, he take 10 more minutes before he is ready.  One very interesting thing I noticed about him lately is that he mixes sauces with every kind of food.  For example, a few days ago, he put A1 steak sauce into salad and dumplings.  After that meal, he came over with a very normal face and told me that it wasn't a very good mix... I'll never understand his tastes.  He also read many  magazines instead of books, he refuses to get new things, etc.  Well, thats my very amazing and weird dad!
Hello again,
Many of you may have noticed that I have changed my Blog's title to Limitless Compositions.  I thought that Writing Under Duress isn't really fitting because I can choose if I want to write on this blog or not.  I'm not being forced to write, merely being told to for my own good.  The new title may be cheesy, but I have learned that cheesy isn't necessarily bad.  Anyways, The Magicians is turning out to be a pretty interesting book, Though I think the title should be The Magician, as there is one main character and he is only one magician.  Maybe  the title of the book will justify itself in time.  Oh well...
                                                                                                             -  (-_-)  for lack of a better name

Hello,
This is my second blog since I got a blog and I'm still Writing Under Duress. I have finished the book I was reading, The Name Of The Wind. I is a wonderful book and I am anticipating the sequel, which will come out very soon. I am starting a new book, The Magician, by Lev Grossman, and it seems like a moderately interesting book so far. Not much is happening yet. I forgot to mention this in my first post, so I'll mention it now; I am very interested in yoyoing. I have two yoyos and I am starting to move up to advanced tricks. IPhone OS 4.0 is still really awesome and I am discovering new functions every day.

Hello,
I have just created this new blog against my will because I was forced to by one of my friends. He said that it would eventually help me with my writing and I would thank him when I am writing for my college applications. I don't doubt that, but I don't support his opinion either. I am reading a book called The Name Of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I highly recommend this book to whoever reads my posts. I just got the iPhone OS 4.0 and it has many functions that are new like multitasking and backgrounds. APPLE FTW!
